'One' in the Bible

But we know that the law is good, provided one uses it legitimately.

knowing this, that the law [is] not given for a righteous [person] but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and totally worldly, for the one who kills his father and the one who kills his mother, for murderers,

I am grateful to the one who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me faithful in putting me into ministry,

one who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I received mercy because I acted out of ignorance in unbelief.

for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This is a trustworthy saying: The one who would an elder be, a noble task desires he.

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

(and if any one his own house how to lead hath not known, how an assembly of God shall he take care of?)

Not one newly taken into the church, for fear that, through his high opinion of himself, he may come into the same sin as the Evil One.

And he is to have a good name among those outside the church, so that nothing may be said against him and he may not be taken by the designs of the Evil One.

Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

but if I delay, in order that thou mayest know how one ought to conduct oneself in God's house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth.

for bodily exercise is profitable for a little, but piety is profitable for everything, having promise of life, of the present one, and of that to come.

Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Do not say sharp words to one who has authority in the church, but let your talk be as to a father, and to the younger men as to brothers:

But the widow [who is one] truly, and is left alone, has put her hope in God and continues in her petitions and prayers night and day.

But the one who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.

and if any one for his own -- and especially for those of the household -- doth not provide, the faith he hath denied, and than an unbeliever he is worse.

Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,

and has a reputation for good works: as one who has raised children, practiced hospitality, washed the feet of the saints, helped those in distress -- as one who has exhibited all kinds of good works.

So it is my desire that the younger widows may be married and have children, controlling their families, and giving the Evil One no chance to say anything against them,

Do not take as true any statement made against one in authority, but only if two or three give witness to it.

I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Be laying hands quickly on no one, nor be having fellowship with sins of others; be keeping thyself pure;

if any one be teaching otherwise, and do not consent to sound words -- those of our Lord Jesus Christ -- and to the teaching according to piety,

to keep all His precepts without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the only One who has immortality,dwelling in unapproachable light;no one has seen or can see Him,to Him be honor and eternal might.Amen.

And to do good, having wealth in good works, being quick to give, taking part with one another;
