'Angels' in the Bible

And the two angels came to Sodom in the evening. And Lot was sitting in the gateway of Sodom. Then Lot saw [them] and stood up to meet them. And he bowed down [with his] face to the ground.

And as the dawn came up the angels urged Lot saying, "Get up, take your wife and your two daughters {who are staying with you}, lest you be destroyed with the punishment of the city."

And Jacob went on his way, and angels of God met him.

Humankind ate [the] bread of {angels}. He sent them food [enough] to be satisfied.

and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down! For it is written, 'He will command his angels concerning you,' and 'On [their] hands they will lift you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"

The Son of Man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all the causes of sin and those who do lawless deeds,

Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the evil from among the righteous

And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect together from the four winds, from [one] end of heaven to the [other] end of it.

And I looked, and I heard one eagle flying {directly overhead}, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, from the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow the trumpet!"

saying to the sixth angel, the one who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who have been bound at the great river Euphrates!"

And the four angels who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year were released, in order that they should kill a third of humanity.

he himself also will drink of the wine of the anger of God that has been mixed full strength in the cup of his wrath, and will be tortured with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

And I saw another great and marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels having seven plagues [that are] the last [ones], because with them the wrath of God is completed.

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out from the temple, dressed [in] clean, bright linen garments, and girded with golden belts around their chests.

And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives {forever and ever},

and the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God."

And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,

And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

It has a great and high wall that has twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on [the gates] which are of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel--
