“You shall not delay the offering from your harvest and your vintage. You shall give (consecrate, dedicate) to Me the firstborn of your sons.

And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

Your threshing will continue until grape harvest, and the grape harvest will continue until sowing time; you will have plenty of food to eat and live securely in your land.

“Within the walls [of the wicked] the poor make [olive] oil;They tread [the grapes in] the wine presses, but thirst.

The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

This thy stature is like to a palm-tree, And thy breasts to grape clusters.

Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

And after working the earth of it with a spade, he took away its stones, and put in it a very special vine; and he put up a watchtower in the middle of it, hollowing out in the rock a place for the grape-crushing; and he was hoping that it would give the best grapes, but it gave common grapes.

For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

For this is how it will be on earthamong the nations:like a harvested olive tree,like a gleaning after a grape harvest.

In little more than a year, you complacent women will shudder; for the grape harvest will fail, and the fruit harvest will not come.

This is what the Lord says,“As the new wine is found in the cluster,And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing and benefit in it,’So I will do for the sake of My servantsIn order not to destroy all of them.

This is what the Lord who rules over all said to me: "Those who remain in Israel will be like the grapes thoroughly gleaned from a vine. So go over them again, as though you were a grape harvester passing your hand over the branches one last time."

“They will come and sing aloud and shout for joy on the height of Zion,And will be radiant [with joy] over the goodness of the Lord—For the grain, for the new wine, for the oil,And for the young of the flock and the herd.And their life will be like a watered garden,And they shall never sorrow or languish again.

But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

As for me, I am going to stay at Mizpah to stand [for you] before the Chaldeans who come to us [ministering to them and looking after the king’s interests]; but as for you, gather in wine, summer fruit and oil and store them in your utensils [designed for such purposes], and live in your cities that you have taken over.”

I will weep for you, vine of Sibmah,with more than the weeping for Jazer.Your tendrils have extended to the sea;they have reached to the sea and to Jazer.The destroyer has fallen on your summer fruit and grape harvest.

Awake [from your intoxication], you drunkards, and weep;Wail, all you drinkers of wine,Because of the [fresh] sweet wineThat is cut off from your mouth.

The field is ruined,The ground mourns;For the grain is ruined,The new wine is dried up,The fresh oil fails.

The Lord will answer and say to His people,“Behold, I am going to send you grain and new wine and oil,And you will be satisfied in full with them;And I will never again make you an object of ridicule among the [Gentile] nations.

And the threshing floors shall be full of grain,And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

“They have also cast lots for My people,And have traded a boy for a prostituteAnd have sold a girl for wine that they may drink.

And in that dayThe mountains will drip with sweet wineAnd the hills will flow with milk;And all the brooks and riverbeds of Judah will flow with water,And a fountain will go out from the house of the LordTo water the [desert] Valley of Shittim.

If thieves came to you,if marauders by night—how ravaged you would be!—wouldn’t they steal only what they wanted?If grape pickers came to you,wouldn’t they leave some grapes?

How sad for me!For I am like one who—when the summer fruit has been gatheredafter the gleaning of the grape harvest—finds no grape cluster to eat,no early fig, which I crave.

When the grape harvest drew near, he sent his slaves to the farmers to collect his fruit.

for each tree from its own fruit is known, for not from thorns do they gather figs, nor from a bramble do they crop a grape.
