'Tell' in the Bible
I tell you, in the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

Then He began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, leased it to tenant farmers, and went away for a long time.
“I tell you the truth,” He said. “This poor widow has put in more than all of them.
Tell the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks you, “Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover with My disciples?”’
For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
For I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
“I tell you, Peter,” He said, “the rooster will not crow today until you deny three times that you know Me!”
For I tell you, what is written must be fulfilled in Me: And He was counted among the outlaws. Yes, what is written about Me is coming to its fulfillment.”
They said, “If You are the Messiah, tell us.”But He said to them, “If I do tell you, you will not believe.
“Who are you, then?” they asked. “We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What can you tell us about yourself?”
If I have told you about things that happen on earth and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about things of heaven?
“I have many things to say and to judge about you, but the One who sent Me is true, and what I have heard from Him—these things I tell the world.”
Who among you can convict Me of sin? If I tell the truth, why don’t you believe Me?
Then the Jews surrounded Him and asked, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
“I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in My Father’s name testify about Me.
Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
“Children, I am with you a little while longer. You will look for Me, and just as I told the Jews, ‘Where I am going you cannot come,’ so now I tell you.
You have heard Me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.
But I have told you these things so that when their time comes you may remember I told them to you. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.
“I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. A time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.
“Woman,” Jesus said to her, “why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”Supposing He was the gardener, she replied, “Sir, if you’ve removed Him, tell me where you’ve put Him, and I will take Him away.”
“Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her, “for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father—to My God and your God.”
So this report spread to the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not tell him that he would not die, but, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
“Tell me,” Peter asked her, “did you sell the field for this price?”“Yes,” she said, “for that price.”
“Go and stand in the temple complex, and tell the people all about this life.”
And now, I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of men, it will be overthrown;
So Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning from that Scripture.
