that ye may be blameless and inoffensive, the children of God without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom ye shine as lights in the world,

But in answer to him that told Him, He said, "Who is my mother, and who are my brethren?" and stretching out his hand towards his disciples, He said, "Behold my mother and my brethren:" for whosoever doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is to me as my brother and sister and mother.
for those whom he foreknew, He also predetermined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be as the first-born among many brethren: and whom He before ordained, these He also called;
Whence it behoved Him to be made in all things like unto his brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high-priest in the things concerning God, to make atonement for the sins of the people:
since we know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he, that loveth not his brother, remaineth in death.
We love Him, because He first loved us. If any one say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for how can he, that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, love God whom he hath not seen?
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the houshold of God;
And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith.
who was faithful to Him that appointed Him, as Moses also was in all his house. For He was accounted worthy of more honor than Moses, as he who hath built it, hath more honor than the house. For every house is built by some one: and He who built all things is God.read more.
Now Moses was indeed faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of the things which were to be spoken: but Christ as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we maintain the free profession and exultation of hope firm unto the end.
