He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him freely give us all things?
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life:
whom God hath appointed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness, in the remission of past sins, according to the forbearance of God; for a demonstration, I say, of his righteousness at this time: that He might be just, and the justifier of him, that believeth in Jesus.
For that which was impossible for the law to do, and in which it was weak through the corruption of the flesh, God by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sacrifice for sin, hath done; that is, hath condemned sin in the flesh:
but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son born of a woman made under the law,
And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

to whom coming as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen of God,
For we know that the whole world groaneth, and doth as it were travail in pain together even to this day.
For the earnest expectation of the world is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God: (for the world was subjected to vanity, not willingly, but through him who made it subject:) in hope that they also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ: if so be we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified with Him.
Then said Jesus to his disciples, If any one is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me:
And calling the people and his disciples to Him, He said unto them, Whosoever is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me:
And He said unto them all, if any one is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me:
But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask: are ye able to drink of the cup which I am going to drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They replied, We are able. And He saith unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of my cup, and shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left is not mine to give, but to those for whom it is prepared by my Father.
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink of the cup, that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? And they said, We can. And Jesus said unto them, The cup indeed which I drink, ye shall drink of; and with the baptism, that I am baptized with, shall ye be baptized:
For to you it is granted as a favor from Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for his sake:
For unto this are ye called; because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye might follow his steps.
