Wherefore Ahab called Obadiah the governor of his house - which Obadiah feared God greatly, insomuch that when Jezebel destroyed the Prophets of the LORD, he took a hundred of the Prophets and hid them, fifty in one cave and fifty in another, and provided bread and water for them.

Brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of glory in respect of persons.

And they are informed of thee that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the gentiles to forsake Moses, and sayest that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to live after the customs. Do therefore this that we say to thee. We have four men, which have a vow on them. Them take and purify thyself with them, and do cost on them, that they may shave their heads and all shall know that those things which they have heard concerning thee are nothing: but that thou thyself also walkest and keepest the law. Set yourselves therefore at large, and bear not a stranger's yoke with the unbelievers. For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What company hath light with darkness? What concord hath Christ with Belial? Either, what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

so that ye were an example to all that believe in Macedonia, and Achaia.

And if any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them minister unto them, and let not the congregation be charged: that it may have sufficient for them that are widows indeed.

While we have, therefore, time; let us do good unto all men, and specially, unto them which are of the household of faith.

See that they which have believing masters despise them not because they are brethren: but so much the rather do service, forasmuch as they are believing and beloved and partakers of the benefits. These things teach and exhort.

See that ye honour all men. Love brotherly fellowship, fear God, and honour the King.
