So the apostles and elders were assembled together to consider about this matter. And after much debate, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago, God, who was among us, chose that the Gentiles should hear by my mouth the word of the gospel, and believe. And God who knoweth the heart, bare witness to them, giving them the holy Spirit, as He had done also to us:
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit of God; that we might know the things that are graciously bestowed upon us by God:
that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles by Christ Jesus; that we through faith might receive the promise of the Spirit.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. So that the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that thou art no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, an heir also of God through Christ.
and He came and preached peace to you that were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit: and there are different offices, but the same Lord: and there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh them all in every one.read more.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the holy Spirit.
Christ is become nothing to you, whosoever of you are seeking to be justified by the law: ye are fallen from the grace of the gospel. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

What then? yet every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Christ is preached: and in this I rejoice, yea and I will rejoice; for I know that this shall turn to my safety through your prayer, and the aid of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
of how much greater punishment, think ye, shall he be counted worthy, who hath trampled under foot the Son of God, and accounted the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and abused the Spirit of grace?
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity to God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Do ye think the scripture speaks in vain? or does the Spirit that dwelleth in us, excite to envy? No, He giveth more grace: wherefore it is said, God resisteth the proud, but sheweth favor to the humble.
