Then said Jesus unto them, I tell you truly, that unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is truly food, and my blood is truly drink: he that feedeth on my flesh and drinketh my blood, abideth in me and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that feedeth on me he also shall live by me. This is the bread that came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat, and yet are dead. He that eateth this bread shall live for ever.
Know ye not, that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life:
And now why shouldst thou delay? Arise and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling upon the name of the Lord.
for if we have been planted together in the resemblance of his death, so shall we be also of his resurrection. And He said unto them, I have earnestly desired to eat of this passover with you before I suffer: for I say unto you, that I will not eat of it any more, till it be accomplished in the kingdom of God.
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new mass, without leaven. For our paschal lamb, even Christ, was slain for us.
