Be it known therefore unto you, brethren, that through Him is preached unto you the remission of sins: and by Him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Now in the middle of the night Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises to God, and the prisoners heard them. And on a sudden there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bonds were loosed. The jailor waking, and seeing the prison-doors open, drew his sword and was going to kill himself, thinking that the prisoners were fled.read more.
But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for lights, and sprang in, and being in a tremor fell down before Paul and Silas: and bringing them out, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thine house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all in his family. And he took them at that very time of the night, and bathed their stripes: and was baptized, he and all his immediately after. And he brought them into his house, and spread a table for them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his household.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness:
But coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I am perishing with hunger? I will rise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and am no longer worthy to be called thy son; make me as one of thy hired servants.read more.

Afterwards Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art healed; sin no more, least something worse befal thee.
So also do ye reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield your bodies as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your bodies as instruments of righteousness to God.read more.
For sin shall have no power over you, inasmuch as ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Then his lord called for him again, and said to him, Thou wicked slave, I forgave thee all that vast debt at thy request, and oughtest not thou to have had compassion on thy fellow-servant, even as I had on thee? And his lord being highly provoked delivered him to the officers, till he should pay all that was owing to him. Thus will my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts their trespasses.
But when ye pray, forgive, if ye have any thing against any one, that your heavenly Father may also forgive you your trespasses:
tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgiveth you.
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any one has a complaint against any: even as Christ hath forgiven you, so also do ye.
