2 After two days is the Passover, and the Son of man will be given up to the death of the cross.

59 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false testimony against Jesus so they could put Him to death.(AR)
59 Meanwhile, the high priests and the whole Council were looking for false testimony against Jesus in order to have him put to death.
60 And they were not able to get it, though a number of false witnesses came.
60 They did not find any, even though many false witnesses came forward. But later on (BY)two came forward,
60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
60 But they could not find any, even though many false witnesses(AS) came forward.(y) Finally, two(z) who came forward
60 But they couldn't find any, even though many false witnesses had come forward. At last two men came forward
61 But later there came two who said, This man said, I am able to give the Temple of God to destruction, and to put it up again in three days.
61 and said, “This man stated, ‘(BZ)I am able to destroy the (r)temple of God and to rebuild it (s)in three days.’”
61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
61 and stated, "This man said, "I can destroy the sanctuary of God and rebuild it in three days.'"
62 And the high priest got up and said to him, Have you no answer? what is it which these say against you?
62 The high priest stood up and said to Him, “Do You not answer? What is it that these men are testifying against You?”
62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
62 The high priest then stood up and said to Him, “Don’t You have an answer to what these men are testifying against You?”
62 At this, the high priest stood up and asked Jesus, "Don't you have any answer to what these men are testifying against you?"
63 But Jesus said not a word. And the high priest said to him, I put you on oath, by the living God, that you will say to us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.
63 But (CA)Jesus kept silent. (CB)And the high priest said to Him, “I (t)(CC)adjure You by (CD)the living God, that You tell us whether You are (u)the Christ, (CE)the Son of God.”
63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
63 But(AU) Jesus kept silent.(AV) Then the high priest said to Him, “By the living God I place You under oath:(AW) tell us if You are the Messiah, the Son of God!”(AX)
63 But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest told him, "I command you by the living God to tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God!"
64 Jesus says to him, You say so: but I say to you, From now you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.
64 Jesus *said to him, “(CF)You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, (v)hereafter you will see (CG)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and (CH)coming on the clouds of heaven.”
64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
64 “You have said it,”(aa) Jesus told him. “But I tell you, in the future(ab) you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”(AY)(ac)
64 Jesus told him, "You have said so. Nevertheless I tell you, from now on you will see "the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power' and "coming on the clouds of heaven.'"
65 Then the high priest, violently parting his robes, said, He has said evil against God: what more need have we of witnesses? for now his words against God have come to your ears:
65 Then the high priest (CI)tore his (w)robes and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy;
65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
65 Then the high priest tore his robes and said, “He has blasphemed!(AZ) Why do we still need witnesses? Look, now you’ve heard the blasphemy!(BA)
65 Then the high priest tore his robes and said, "He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Listen! You yourselves have just heard the blasphemy!
69 Now Peter was seated in the open square outside the house: and a servant-girl came to him, saying, You were with Jesus the Galilaean.
69 (CN)Now Peter was sitting outside in the (CO)courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”
69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard.(BE) A servant approached him and she said, “You were with Jesus the Galilean too.”
69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard when a servant girl came up to him and said, "You, too, were with Jesus the Galilean."
70 But he said before them all that it was false, saying, I have no knowledge of what you say.
70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.”
70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.
70 But he denied it in front of everyone: “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
70 But he denied it in front of them all. "I don't know what you're talking about!" he exclaimed.
71 And when he had gone out into the doorway, another saw him and says to those who were there, This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.
71 When he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and *said to those who were there, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
71 When he had gone out to the gateway, another woman saw him and told those who were there, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene!”(BF)
71 As he went out to the gateway, another woman saw him and told those who were there, "This man was with Jesus from Nazareth."
73 And after a little time those who were near came and said to Peter, Truly you are one of them; because your talk is witness against you.
73 A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Surely you too are one of them; (CP)for even the way you talk (z)gives you away.”
73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
73 After a little while those standing there approached and said to Peter, “You certainly are one of them, since even your accent(ae) gives you away.”
73 After a little while, the people who were standing there came up and told Peter, "Obviously you're also one of them, because your accent gives you away."
74 Then with curses and oaths he said, I have no knowledge of the man. And straight away there came the cry of a cock.
74 Then he began to curse and swear, “I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed.
74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
74 Then he started to curse(af) and to swear with an oath, “I do not know the man!” Immediately a rooster crowed,
74 Then he began to curse violently. "I don't know the man!" he swore solemnly. Just then a rooster crowed.
75 And the word of Jesus came back to Peter, when he said, Before the hour of the cock's cry, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me. And he went out, weeping bitterly.
75 And Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said, “(CQ)Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.
75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
