Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which he purchased with the blood of his Own.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also give us all things with him?

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to human tradition, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

For both he who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And he fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterward he was hungry.

Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'" Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory. And he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Away, Satan! for it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'" Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.

And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven." And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!" read more. But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"he then said to the paralytic"Rise, take up your bed and go home."

"All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him!"

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, read more. teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

But he was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care if we perish?"

And he marveled because of their unbelief. Then he went around the villages teaching.

But he said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." And when they found out they said, "Five, and two fish."

Then he said to her, "For this saying you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter."

"I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days and have nothing to eat.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation."

And Jesus asked his father, "How long has he been like this?" And he said, "From childhood.

But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the little children come to me; and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

And he took Peter, James and John with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled.

And Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." The high priest tore his clothes and said, "Why do we need any more witnesses?

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. read more. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

and the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased."

When Jesus heard this, he marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that followed him, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel."

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

At that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it was your good pleasure.

You are those who have continued with me in my trials.

Then he said to them, "These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled." Then he opened their minds, so they could understand the Scriptures. read more. And he said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.

And he who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him."

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. And he said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Lord, come and see."

Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst."

yet he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness."

For since the creation of the world his invisible nature, even his eternal power and deity, has been clearly seen, being understood by the things that have been made. So they are without excuse;

as a plan for the fullness of the times, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth. In him

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the world.

For it was fitting that he, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.

For then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
