And a leper came to him and, going down on his knees before him, made a request, saying, If it is your pleasure, you have the power to make me clean.

But that you may know that the Son of man has power to forgive sins on the earth, he said to the paralytic,

And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

But Jesus disregarded what the person said and told the official, "Do not be afraid; just believe [i.e., in my power to restore your daughter]."

Now having called the twelve, he sent them out by two and two, giving them power to exorcize spirits:

or on my left, is not in my power to grant, except to those for whom it was designed.

As a man travelling, having left his house, and having given power to his servants, and to each his work, and he commanded the guard of the door that he should watch.
