Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

And when he came into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
And there went out unto him all the land of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the demons casts he out demons.

And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked around upon all things, and now the evening was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
And they came again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there came to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
(Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women who came up with him unto Jerusalem.
And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spoke of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
