And He began again to teach by the seaside. And there was a great crowd gathered to Him, so that He entered into a boat and sat in the sea. And the whole crowd was on the land by the seaside.
And when the sun rose, it was scorched. And because it had no root, it withered away.
And when He was alone, they who were about Him, with the Twelve, asked Him concerning the parable.
And these are those by the wayside, where the Word is sown. And when they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts.
And when they had sent away the crowd, they took Him with them as He was in the boat. And there were also other little boats with Him.
And there arose a windstorm, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was now full.
And He was in the stern of the boat, asleep on a headrest. And they awakened Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we perish?
And He awakened and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones.
And a great herd of pigs was feeding near the mountains.
And the ones who fed the pigs fled and told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
And Jesus having crossed again by boat to the other side, a large crowd collected on Him. And He was near the sea.
And instantly the fountain of her blood dried up. And she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
And they laughed at Him. But when He had put them all out, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those with Him, and went in where the child was lying.
And instantly the little girl arose and walked (for she was twelve years old). And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
Others said that it was Elijah. And others said that he is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man. And he kept him safe. And when he heard him, he did many things and heard him gladly.
And going out Jesus saw a large crowd. And He was moved with compassion toward them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.
And when evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and He was alone on the land.
And He saw them toiling in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them. And about the fourth watch of the night He came toward them walking on the sea, and would have passed by them.
But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a phantom, and cried out.
And He went up into the boat to them. And the wind was cut off. And they were very much amazed within themselves beyond measure, and marveled.
they ran all around that neighborhood, and began to carry on cots those who were sick, wherever they heard He was.
The woman was a Greek, a Syro-phoenician by race. And she begged Him that He would cast the demon out of her daughter.
And instantly his ears were opened and the bond of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke plainly.
And after that He put His hands again on his eyes and made him look up. And he was restored and saw all clearly.
And after six days Jesus took Peter and James and John and led them up into a high mountain, apart by themselves. And He was transfigured before them.
And Elijah with Moses was seen by them, and they were talking with Jesus.
And there was a cloud that overshadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son. Hear Him.
And the spirit cried out, throwing him into convulsions, and came out of him. And he was like one dead, so that many said, He is dead.
And He came to Capernaum. And being in the house, He asked them, What was it that you disputed among yourselves in the way?
But they were silent. For in the way they had disputed among themselves who was the greatest.
And He arose from there. And He came into the borders of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And again a crowd came together to Him. And as was His custom, He taught them again.
But when Jesus saw, He was much displeased and said to them, Allow the little children to come to Me and do not hinder them. For of such is the kingdom of God.
And he was sad at that saying and went away grieved, for he had great possessions.
And they came to Jericho. And as He with His disciples and a large crowd went out of Jericho, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, was sitting by the side of the highway, begging.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me!
And on the next day, they going out of Bethany, He was hungry.
And seeing a fig-tree with leaves afar off, He went to it, if perhaps He might find anything on it. And when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season of figs.
And they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to Him
The baptism of John, was it from Heaven, or from men? Answer Me.
this was from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes"?
And after two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by craft and kill Him.

And those hearing that He lives, and was seen by her, they did not believe.

And the child grew and became strong in spirit and was in the deserts until the day of his showing to Israel.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee to be taxed (out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David).

And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the Feast.
And He went with them and came to Nazareth, and He was subject to them. But His mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts concerning John, lest perhaps he was the Christ,
And it happened in the baptizing of all the people, Jesus also being baptized, and praying, and the heaven was opened.
And Jesus Himself was beginning to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) son of Joseph, son of of Heli,
And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness
forty days, being tempted by the Devil. And in those days He ate nothing. And they being ended, He afterward was hungry.
And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And, as His custom was, He went in to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.
