He that believeth in the son of God hath the witness in himself. He that believeth not God, maketh him a liar, because he doth not believe the witness that God hath testified of his son.

Seraiah the son of Hilkiah the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was prince in the house of God:

Now when Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jozadak the high priest, with the remnant of the people, heard the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of the Prophet Haggai, like as the LORD their God had sent him, the people did fear the LORD.

The overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem, was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. Of the children of Asaph, there were singers about the business in the house of God:

that thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his ordinances and his commandments which I command thee; both thou and thy son and thy son's son all days of thy life, that thy days may be prolonged.

"Thou son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, 'Thus sayeth the LORD God: Because thou hast a proud heart and hast said, 'I am a God, I have my seat in the midst of the sea like a God,' whereas thou art but a man, and not God, and yet standest in thine own conceit, that thou art God:

And through the good hand of our God upon us, they brought us a wise man from among the children of Mahli the son of Levi the son of Israel, even Sherebiah, with his sons and brethren, eighteen;

He trusted in God: let God deliver him now if he will have him, for he said, 'I am the son of God.'"

Whosoever confesseth that Jesus is the son of God, in him dwelleth God, and he in God.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God, that God hath born of his son.

He that hath the son, hath life: and he that hath not the son of God, hath not life.

and saying, "Thou that destroyest the temple of God, and buildest it in three days: save thyself. If thou be the son of God, come down from the cross."

When Jesus that heard he said, "This infirmity is not unto death: But for the laud of God, that the son of God might be praised by the reason of it."

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had judged him to be loosed:

And Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, which was the principal to begin the thanksgiving unto prayer. And Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

and certain of the priests' children with trumpets, namely Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph,

These were the children of Abihail the son of Huri the son of Jaroah Gilead the son of Michael the son of Jeshishai the son of Jahdo the son of Buz.

and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham. And Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri. And Meshullam the son of Shephatiah the son of Reuel the son of Ibnijah

And Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi; and Dathan and Abiram, the son of Eliab; and On the son of Peleth, the sons of Reuben,

This is the word of the LORD, which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah the son of Hezekiah: in the time of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah.

Now there was a man of Benjamin named Kish the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Becorath, the son of Aphiah, the son of a man that was a Benjaminite, a man of might:

Next unto him builded Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz. Next unto him builded Meshullam the son of Berechiah the son of Meshezabel. Next unto him builded Zadok the son of Baana.

And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah and of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;

Ziza the son of Shiphi the son of Allon the son of Jedaiah the son of Shimri the son of Shemaiah.

Uthai the son of Ammihud the son of Omri the son of Imri of the son of Bani of the children of Perez, the son of Judah.

Obadiah the son of Shemaiah the son of Galal the son of Jeduthun. And Berechiah the son of Asa the son of Elkanah that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
