Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and have such in high esteem:
And we entreat you, brethren, to respect those that labour among you, and preside over you in the Lord, and instruct you; and to esteem them very highly in love, on account of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
Let the elders, who preside well, be counted worthy of double honor, especially those that labour in preaching and teaching.
Remember your guides, who spake the word of God to you; whose faith imitate, considering the happy end of their conversation.

If Timothy should come, see that he be with you without fear: for he is employed in the work of the Lord, as I also am. Let no one therefore despise him: but forward him on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren. As to our brother Apollos,
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord, that your care for me has now flourished again; for whom ye were indeed careful before, but ye wanted opportunity. Not that I speak on account of want; for I have learnt in whatever circumstances I am, to be contented. And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty:)
And thus, my brethren, ye also are dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye might become another's, even his who is raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.
that ye may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Not that I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
