30 Bible Verses about Affluence

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with everything to enjoy.

But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. but the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

And the ones that fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.read more.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
