Is this how you repay the Lord, you foolish, unwise people? Is he not your father, your creator? He has made you and established you.
Yet, Lord, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the product of your labor.
Do we not all have one father? Did not one God create us? Why do we betray one another, in this way making light of the covenant of our ancestors?

I will bring them out from among the peoples and gather them from foreign countries; I will bring them to their own land. I tell you the solemn truth, the one who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that has come down from heaven, so that a person may eat from it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."

Then Jesus spoke out again, "I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Then I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever --
When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father -- the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father -- he will testify about me,
But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.
The Lord God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death." Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and spoke to me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb!"
And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say: "Come!" And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge.
