'God' in the Bible
Rise up, Lord!Save me, my God!You strike all my enemies on the cheek;You break the teeth of the wicked.

Yahweh my God, if I have done this,if there is injustice on my hands,
Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,but establish the righteous.The One who examines the thoughts and emotionsis a righteous God.
God is a righteous judgeand a God who shows His wrath every day.
If anyone does not repent,God will sharpen His sword;He has strung His bow and made it ready.
You made him little less than Godand crowned him with glory and honor.
The wicked will return to Sheol—all the nations that forget God.
In all his scheming,the wicked arrogantly thinks:“There is no accountability,since God does not exist.”
He says to himself, “God has forgotten;He hides His face and will never see.”
Rise up, Lord God! Lift up Your hand.Do not forget the afflicted.
Why has the wicked person despised God?He says to himself, “You will not demand an account.”
Consider me and answer, Lord my God.Restore brightness to my eyes;otherwise, I will sleep in death.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the human raceto see if there is one who is wise,one who seeks God.
Then they will be filled with terror,for God is with those who are righteous.

The sorrows of those who take another godfor themselves will multiply;I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood,and I will not speak their names with my lips.
I call on You, God,because You will answer me;listen closely to me; hear what I say.

I thirst for God, the living God.When can I come and appear before God?
My tears have been my food day and night,while all day long people say to me,“Where is your God?”
I remember this as I pour out my heart:how I walked with many,leading the festive procession to the house of God,with joyful and thankful shouts.
Why am I so depressed?Why this turmoil within me?Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him,my Savior and my God.
The Lord will send His faithful love by day;His song will be with me in the night—a prayer to the God of my life.
I will say to God, my rock,“Why have You forgotten me?Why must I go about in sorrowbecause of the enemy’s oppression?”
My adversaries taunt me,as if crushing my bones,while all day long they say to me,“Where is your God?”
Why am I so depressed?Why this turmoil within me?Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him,my Savior and my God.
Vindicate me, God, and defend my causeagainst an ungodly nation;rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man.
For You are the God of my refuge.Why have You rejected me?Why must I go about in sorrowbecause of the enemy’s oppression?
Then I will come to the altar of God,to God, my greatest joy.I will praise You with the lyre,God, my God.

wouldn’t God have found this out,since He knows the secrets of the heart?
You are the most handsome of men;grace flows from your lips.Therefore God has blessed you forever.
Your throne, God, is forever and ever;the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joymore than your companions.
