'Justice' in the Bible

We all growl like bearsand moan like doves.We hope for justice, but there is none;for salvation, but it is far from us.

Justice is turned back,and righteousness stands far off.For truth has stumbled in the public square,and honesty cannot enter.

Truth is missing,and whoever turns from evil is plundered.The Lord saw that there was no justice,and He was offended.

For I Yahweh love justice;I hate robbery and injustice;I will faithfully reward themand make an everlasting covenant with them.

then you can swear, “As the Lord lives,”in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,then the nations will be blessed by Himand will pride themselves in Him.

Then I thought:They are just the poor;they have played the fool.For they don’t understand the way of the Lord,the justice of their God.

You have wearied the Lord with your words.Yet you ask, “How have we wearied Him?”When you say, “Everyone who does what is evil is good in the Lord’s sight, and He is pleased with them,” or “Where is the God of justice?”

And a widow in that town kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’

yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice, so she doesn’t wear me out by her persistent coming.’”

I tell you that He will swiftly grant them justice. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find that faith on earth?”

In His humiliation justice was denied Him.Who will describe His generation?For His life is taken from the earth.

When the local people saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man is probably a murderer, and though he has escaped the sea, Justice does not allow him to live!”

For consider how much diligence this very thing—this grieving as God wills—has produced in you: what a desire to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what deep longing, what zeal, what justice! In every way you showed yourselves to be pure in this matter.
