'Kill' in the Bible
Ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not kill; but whosoever shall kill shall be subject to the judgment.
And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but fear rather him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
And while desiring to kill him, he feared the crowd, because they held him for a prophet.
and they shall kill him; and the third day he shall be raised up. And they were greatly grieved.
He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
But the husbandmen, seeing the son, said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him and possess his inheritance.
Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some of them ye will kill and crucify, and some of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute from city to city;
Then shall they deliver you up to tribulation, and shall kill you; and ye will be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.
and took counsel together in order that they might seize Jesus by subtlety and kill him;
And he says to them, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? But they were silent.
But Herodias kept it in her mind against him, and wished to kill him, and could not:

For he who said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become transgressor of the law.
Ye lust and have not: ye kill and are full of envy, and cannot obtain; ye fight and war; ye have not because ye ask not.
and her children will I kill with death; and all the assemblies shall know that I am he that searches the reins and the hearts; and I will give to you each according to your works.
and it was given to them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
And when they shall have completed their testimony, the beast who comes up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and shall conquer them, and shall kill them:
If any one leads into captivity, he goes into captivity. If any one shall kill with the sword, he must with the sword be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
