'Lives' in the Bible
For none of us lives for himself, and no one dies for himself.
You know that you are God's sanctuary and that God's Spirit lives in you, don't you?
A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, only in the Lord.
Though he was crucified in weakness, he lives by God's power. We are weak with him, but by God's power we will live for you.
Keep examining yourselves to see whether you are continuing in the faith. Test yourselves! You know, don't you, that Jesus the Messiah lives in you? Could it be that you are failing the test?
