'Poles' in the Bible
Make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

But when Esther came before the king, he ordered through a letter that the evil plot that Haman had devised against the Jewish people be rescinded, and that he and his sons be hanged on poles.
They will not look upon the altars, the products that their own fingers have made, and they will have no regard for Asherah poles or incense altars.
Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way,and the result of the removal of his sin will be this:when he makes all the altar stoneslike crushed bits of chalk,no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.
