'Used' in the Bible

In just three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your position. You will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand the way you used to when you were his cupbearer.

We are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not stare at the the end of what was fading away,

For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.

All these regulations refer to what is destroyed by being used up; they are commands and doctrines of men.
