'Always' in the Bible
For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.
For the poor you always have with you, and you can do good for them whenever you want, but you do not always have me.
But he said to him, 'Child, you are always with me, and {everything I have belongs to you}.
And he told them a parable to [show that] they must always pray and not be discouraged,
So Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
And the one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do the things that are pleasing to him."
And I know that you always hear me, but for the sake of the crowd standing around I said [it], so that they may believe that you sent me."
For you have the poor with you always, but you do not always have me."
Jesus replied to him, "I have spoken openly to the world. I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple [courts] where all the Jews assemble, and I have said nothing in secret.
{For this reason} also myself {always} do my best to have a clear conscience toward God and people.
always asking in my prayers if somehow now at last I may succeed to come to you in the will of God.
I give thanks to my God always concerning you, because of the grace of God which was given to you in Christ Jesus,
So then, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, [because you] know that your labor is not [in] vain in the Lord.
But thanks [be] to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ, and who reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of him through us in every place.
always carrying around the death of Jesus in our body, in order that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
Therefore, [although we are] always confident and know that [while we] are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord--
as grieving, but always rejoicing, as poor, but making many rich, as having nothing, and possessing everything.
giving thanks always for all [things] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to the God and Father,
always in my every prayer for all of you, making the prayer with joy,
according to my eager expectation and hope, that I will be put to shame in nothing, but with all boldness, even now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether through life or through death.
Therefore my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
We give thanks always to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ [when we] pray for you,
Let your speech always [be] with grace, seasoned with salt, so that [you] may know how it is necessary for you to answer each one.
Epaphras, who is [one] of you, greets you, a slave of Christ always struggling on behalf of you in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
We give thanks to God always concerning all of you, making mention constantly in our prayers,
hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles in order that they may be saved, so that [they] always fill up their sins. But wrath has come upon them to the end.
But now, [because] Timothy has come to us from you and has brought good news to us of your faith and love, and that {you always think kindly of us}, desiring to see us just as also we [desire to see] you,
Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.
See to it that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue good toward one another and toward all [people].
We ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers, just as it is fitting, because your faith is flourishing and the love of each one of you all toward one another is increasing
for which [purpose] we also pray always for you, that you may be considered worthy of the calling of our God, and he might fulfill every desire for goodness and work of faith with power,
But we ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers [dearly] loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you [as] first fruits for salvation by the sanctification of the Spirit and faith in the truth,
always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
A certain one of them, [one of] their own prophets, has said, "Cretans [are] always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons."
I thank my God, always making mention of you in my prayers,
[for] forty years. Therefore I was angry with this generation, and I said, 'They always go astray in their heart, and they do not know my ways.'
Therefore also he is able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, [because he] always lives in order to intercede on their behalf.
but set Christ apart [as] Lord in your hearts, always ready to [make] a defense to anyone who asks you [for] an accounting concerning the hope [that is] in you.
