but for Cain and his offering He had no respect. So Cain became extremely angry (indignant), and he looked annoyed and hostile.

And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

Being sad most of all because he had said that they would not see his face again. And so they went with him to the ship.

After all, if I were to grieve you, who should make me happy but the person I am making sad?
