[The] righteous see, and they rejoice, but [the] innocent [one] mocks at them.

God does not need to examine a person further,that one should approach Him in court.

So that godless men would not ruleNor be snares for the people.

“Your wickedness affects only a man such as you,And your righteousness affects only a son of man [but it cannot affect God, who is sovereign].

Yes, God is mighty, but He despises no one;He understands all things.

Be careful that no one lures you with riches;do not let a large ransom lead you astray.

His thunder roars after it; his majestic voice will thunder; and no one can trace them once his voice has been heard.

Can you spread out the skies like he does; can you cast them as one might a mirror?

To cause it to rain on the earth, where no one is; on the wilderness wherein there is not a man;

Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,but establish the righteous.The One who examines the thoughts and emotionsis a righteous God.

If the ungodly one doesn't repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will string his bow and prepare it.

But the wicked one travails with evil, he conceives malice and gives birth to lies.

I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!

For the One who seeks an accountingfor bloodshed remembers them;He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.

when they prayed: "Have mercy on me, Lord! See how I am oppressed by those who hate me, O one who can snatch me away from the gates of death!
