[The] righteous see, and they rejoice, but [the] innocent [one] mocks at them.
He will even rescue the guilty one,who will be rescued by the purity of your hands.
“There the righteous and upright could reason with Him;So I would be acquitted forever by my Judge.
My feet have gone in his steps; I have kept in his way, without turning to one side or to the other.
But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
Wherefore from the Mighty One Times have not been hidden, And those knowing Him have not seen His days.
They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
From the city, dying men groan aloud, and the wounded cries out for help, but God charges no one with wrong.
For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
"They remain only a short time on the water's surface; their inheritance will be cursed in the land; no one will work in their vineyards.
“But He drags off the valiant by His power; He rises, but no one has assurance of life.
Dominion and dread belong to Him,the One who establishes harmony in the heavens.
How can a person be justified before God?How can one born of woman be pure?
"How you have helped {one who has no power}! [How] you have assisted [the] arm {that has no strength}!
“What counsel you have given to one without wisdom! What helpful insight you have abundantly provided!
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart reproacheth me not one of my days.
When yet the Mighty One is with me. Round about me -- my young ones,
For I rescued the poor man who cried out for help, and the fatherless child who had no one to support him.
“The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me,And I made the widow’s heart sing for joy.
They waited for me as one waits for rain, as one opens his mouth to drink in a spring rain shower.
I smiled at them when they had no confidence, and no one could discourage me.
I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.
“They break up my path,They profit from my destruction; No one restrains them.
Thou art changed to a cruel one to me; with the strength of thy hand thou pursuest me.
Yet no one would stretch out his handagainst a ruined manwhen he cries out to him for helpbecause of his distress.
Haven't I wept for the one who is going through hard times? Haven't I grieved for the needy?
Is not disaster for [the] evil one and ruin for [the] workers of mischief?
He watches my life, observing every one of my actions, does he not?"
Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
if I have seen [the one who] perishes because of no clothing or [that] there is no covering for the poor,
"If I have rejoiced at [the] ruin of [the one who] hated me or have exulted when evil overtook him--
If the men of my tent said not, Who shall find one that hath not been satisfied with his meat? --
Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
"If my land were to cry out against me or if all its furrows wept as one,
But then Barachel's son Elihu from Buz, one of Ram's descendants, got really angry. He was furious with Job because he had been declaring himself righteous instead of vindicating God.
Surely a spirit is in man, And the breath of the Mighty One Doth cause them to understand.
I paid close attention to you.Yet no one proved Job wrong;not one of you refuted his arguments.
I will be partial to no one,and I will not give anyone an undeserved title.
since I don't know the first thing about how to flatter; and the one who made me would sweep me away as if I were nothing."
See, he is looking for something against me; in his eyes I am as one of his haters;
“Indeed God speaks once,Or twice, yet no one notices it.
“In a dream, a vision of the night [one may hear God’s voice],When deep sleep falls on menWhile slumbering upon the bed,
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
For a man's work will he render to him, and cause every one to find according to his way.
Could one who hates justice govern the world? Will you condemn the mighty Righteous One,
Can one say to a king, "You're vile!' or to nobles, "You're wicked!'?
God does not need to examine a person further, that one should approach Him in court.
So that godless men would not ruleNor be snares for the people.
“Your wickedness affects only a man such as you,And your righteousness affects only a son of man [but it cannot affect God, who is sovereign].
But no one asks, “Where is God my Maker, who provides us with songs in the night,
For my arguments are without flaw;one who has perfect knowledge is with you.
Yes, God is mighty, but He despises no one;He understands all things.
Be careful that no one lures you with riches;do not let a large ransom lead you astray.
His thunder roars after it; his majestic voice will thunder; and no one can trace them once his voice has been heard.
Do you understand his wondrous work of balancing the clouds, the one whose knowledge is perfect,
Can you spread out the skies like he does; can you cast them as one might a mirror?
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no one is; on the wilderness wherein there is not a man;
Do you make him leap like a locust? His proud snorting fills one with terror.
Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him?Let him who argues with God give an answer.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
It ranks first among the works of God, the One who made it has furnished it with a sword.
Before his eyes doth one take him, With snares doth one pierce the nose?
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
No one is ferocious enough to rouse Leviathan;who then can stand against Me?
Who ever went against me, and got the better of me? There is no one under heaven!
His back is made of lines of plates, joined tight together, one against the other, like a stamp.
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
If one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; Nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.
He causes the deep to boil like water in a pot, and churns the sea like one stirs ointment.
He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
“Nothing on earth is like him,One made without fear.
Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
and he calleth the name of the one Jemima, and the name of the second Kezia, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.
No one could find more beautiful women in the whole land than Job's daughters. Their father gave them their inheritance along with their brothers.
And Job lived after this one hundred and forty years, and he saw his sons and his {grandsons} [for] four generations.
O the happiness of that one, who Hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked. And in the way of sinners hath not stood, And in the seat of scorners hath not sat;
The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers conspire togetheragainst the Lord and His Anointed One:
The One enthroned in heaven laughs;the Lord ridicules them.
Kiss the Chosen One, lest He be angry, And ye lose the way, When His anger burneth but a little, O the happiness of all trusting in Him!
But You, Lord, are a shield around me,my glory, and the One who lifts up my head.
And know ye that Jehovah Hath separated a saintly one to Himself. Jehovah heareth in my calling to Him.
For You, Lord, bless the righteous one;You surround him with favor like a shield.
For no one remembers you in the realm of death, In Sheol who gives you thanks?
'The Erring One,' by David, that he sung to Jehovah concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. O Jehovah, my God, in Thee I have trusted, Save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me.
or they will tear me like a lion, ripping me apart with no one to rescue me.
if I have done harm to one at peace with meor have plundered my adversary without cause,
For the LORD will judge the nations. Judge me according to my righteousness, LORD, and according to my integrity, Exalted One.
Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,but establish the righteous. The One who examines the thoughts and emotionsis a righteous God.
God is my shield, the one who delivers the upright in heart.
If the ungodly one doesn't repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will string his bow and prepare it.
But the wicked one travails with evil, he conceives malice and gives birth to lies.
I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!
And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.
For the One who seeks an accountingfor bloodshed remembers them;He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
when they prayed: "Have mercy on me, Lord! See how I am oppressed by those who hate me, O one who can snatch me away from the gates of death!
For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.
The wicked one arrogantly pursues the afflicted, who are trapped in the schemes he devises.
