'For Us' in the Bible

from Aroer upon the brink of the river of Arnon, and the city in the river, unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us. The LORD our God delivered all unto us:

It is not in heaven, that thou needest to say, 'Who shall go up for us into heaven, and fetch it us, that we may hear it and do it?'

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, 'Who shall go over sea for us and fetch it us that we may hear it and do it?'
