And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph to buy corn; because the famine was distressing in all lands.

And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: go down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.
And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.
And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan.
If ye are true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses:
And they loaded their asses with the corn, and departed thence.
And it came to pass, when they had consumed the corn which they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them, Go again, buy us a little food.
And to his father he sent after this manner; ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she-asses laden with corn and bread and meat, for his father by the way.
