And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up immediately out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Then was Jesus led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, You shall not test the Lord your God.
Then said Jesus unto him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his teachings:
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
And Jesus said unto him, See you tell no man; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done unto you. And his servant was healed in the same hour.
And when Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever.
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God? have you come here to torment us before the time?
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their region.
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick, a paralytic, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the paralytic; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you.
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why think you evil in your hearts?
And as Jesus passed forth from there, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat to eat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
And Jesus said unto them, Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
But Jesus turned about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Son of David, have mercy on us.
And when he came into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus said unto them, You believe that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yes, Lord.
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus sternly charged them, saying, See that no man knows it.
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter you not:
And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see:
And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went you out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes.
At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the grain field; and his disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the ears of grain, and to eat.
But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from there: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
All these things spoke Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spoke he not unto them:
Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Jesus said unto them, Have you understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed from there.
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.
And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
When Jesus heard of it, he departed from there by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; you give them to eat.
And immediately Jesus made his disciples get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
But immediately Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And he said, Come. And when Peter came down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt?
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
And Jesus departed from there, and came near unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and put them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away without food, lest they faint in the way.
And Jesus said unto them, How many loaves have you? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O you of little faith, why reason you among yourselves, because you have brought no bread?
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father who is in heaven.
Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain apart,
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I endure you? bring him here to me.
And Jesus rebuked the demon; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove from here to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
He said, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus preceded him, saying, What think you, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Jesus said unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the region of Judea beyond Jordan;
But Jesus said, Allow little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
He said unto him, Which? Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,
