Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
When the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus.
And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed to the chief priests all the things that had been done.
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted.
And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.
And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
And forthwith, when they had come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
And at evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with demons.
And when they had found him, they said to him, All men seek for thee.
And when they could not come nigh to him by reason of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed on which the sick with the palsy lay.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the sick with the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.
And immediately, when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said to them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eating with publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners.
When Jesus heard it, he saith to them, They that are in health, have no need of a physician, but they that are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then they will fast in those days.
And he said to them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he and they that were with him?
And when he had looked around on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came to him.
And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
But when the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
And when he was alone, they that were about him, with the twelve, asked of him the parable.
And these are they by the way-side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
And these are they likewise who are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they relapse.
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
It is like a grain of mustard-seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth.
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under its shade.
But without a parable he spoke not to them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
And the same day, when the evening was come, he saith to them, Let us pass over to the other side.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the boat. And there were also with him other small boats.
And when he had come out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
And when he had come into the boat, he that had been possessed with the demon prayed him that he might be with him.
And when Jesus had passed over again in a boat to the other side, much people gathered to him: and he was nigh to the sea.
And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment.
And when he had come in, he saith to them, Why make ye this tumult, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
And they derided him: but when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
And when the sabbath was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given to him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence shake off the dust under your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
But when Herod heard of him, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he hath risen from the dead.
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and observed him: and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
And when a convenient day had come, that Herod on his birth-day made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief men of Galilee;
And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod, and them that sat with him, the king said to the damsel, Ask of me whatever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
And Jesus, when he came out, saw many people, and was moved with compassion towards them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came to him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
He saith to them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
And when he had taken the five loaves, and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes he divided among them all.
And when he had dismissed them, he departed to a mountain to pray.
And when evening was come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out.
And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.
And when they had come out of the boat forthwith they knew him,
And when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled (that is to say with unwashed) hands, they found fault.
And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there are, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, and of brazen vessels, and tables.
And when he had called all the people to him, he said to them, Hearken to me every one of you, and understand.
And when he had entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
And when she had come to her house, she found the demon had gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
And when Jesus knew it, he saith to them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
When I divided the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say to him, Twelve.
And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw aught.
But when he had turned about, and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savorest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men.
And when he had called the people to him with his disciples also, he said to them, Whoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also will the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
And suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.
And immediately all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him, saluted him.
And they brought him to him: and when he saw him, immediately the spirit tore him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed, foaming.
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
And when he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said to them,
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
And when he had gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, to Bethphage, and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round upon all things, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany, with the twelve.
And on the morrow, when they had come from Bethany, he was hungry,
And seeing a fig-tree afar off, having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing on it: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves: for the time of figs had not yet come.
Therefore I say to you, Whatever things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
And when they had come, they say to him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Cesar, or not?
In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her for a wife.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels who are in heaven.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
And when ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end will not be yet.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand) then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains:
Now learn a parable of the fig-tree: When its branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at evening, or at midnight, or at the cock-crowing, or in the morning:
And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
