But I say to you that anyone who is angry with his brother shall be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca,' shall be answerable to the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of hell.

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

But they kept silent; for on the way they had discussed with one another who was the greatest.

"I came to cast fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
