And the eyes of both them were opened, that they understood how that they were naked. Then they sewed fig leaves together and made them aprons.

a land of wheat and of barley, of vines, fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees with oil and of honey:

Then said the trees to the fig tree, 'Come thou and be king over us.'

And the fig tree answered them, 'Should I forsake my sweetness and my good fruit, and should go to be promoted over the trees?'

And Judah and Israel dwelt without fear, every man under his vine and under his fig tree from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

"Learn a similitude of the fig tree: when his branches are yet tender, and his leaves sprung, ye know that summer is nigh.

and he spied a fig tree afar off, having leaves, and went to see whether he might find anything thereon: but when he came thereto, he found nothing but leaves. For the time of figs was not yet.

And in the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up by the roots.

And Peter remembered, and said unto him, "Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst, is withered away."

"Learn a similitude of the fig tree. When his branches are yet tender, and hath brought forth leaves, ye know that summer is near.

He put forth this similitude, "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Then said he to the dresser of his vineyard, 'Behold, this three years have I come and sought fruit in this fig tree, and find none. Cut it down. Why cumbereth it the ground?'

Wherefore, he ran before, and climbed up into a wild fig tree to see him. For he should come that same way.

And he showed them a similitude, "Behold the fig tree, and all other trees,

Nathanael said unto him, "From where knowest thou me?" Jesus answered, and said unto him, "Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee."

Jesus answered and said unto him, "Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, thou believest? Thou shalt see greater things than these."

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries: or a vine bear figs? So can no fountain give both salt water and fresh also.

and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth from her her figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
