These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.

These are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah: these are the chiefs who came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.

The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.

Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.

Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

Ahaz became the father of Jadah; and Jadah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza;

and with them their brothers of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.

Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these were the priests.

and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of the Shilonite.

These are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.

The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah comes," (he who is called Christ). "When he has come, he will declare to us all things."

Look, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Messiah?

However we know where this man comes from, but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he comes from."

But many in the crowd believed in him. They said, "When the Messiah comes, he won't do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?"

Others said, "This is the Messiah." But some said, "What, does the Messiah come out of Galilee?

Hasn't the Scripture said that the Messiah comes of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?"

His parents said these things because they feared the Jewish leaders; for the Jewish leaders had already agreed that if any man would confess him as the Messiah, he would be put out of the synagogue.

The Jewish leaders therefore came around him and said to him, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly."
