When you are in trouble (distress) and all these things happen to you in the latter days, turn to Jehovah your God and obey his voice. Jehovah your God is a merciful God. He will not forsake you. He will not destroy you, nor forget the covenant he made with your fathers.
Great numbers of the children of Israel will return to Jehovah their God because of him. (1 Samuel 7:3) He will go before God in the spirit and power of Elijah. He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and wrongdoers to the way of righteousness. This will make ready a people whose hearts have been directed to Jehovah (YHWH). (Malachi 3:1)
If you and your children return to Jehovah your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your being, doing everything I command you today, he will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you from all the nations of the world where he has scattered you.
I prayed for you that your faith would not fail. Once you have turned again strengthen your brothers.
My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth, and one brings him back, let him know, that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save a person from death, and cover a multitude of sins.

All those people speak about how you received us when we visited you, and how you turned away from idols to God, to serve the true and living God, and to wait for his Son to come from heaven, his Son Jesus, whom he raised from death and who rescues us from God's anger (indignation) that is to come.
Jehovah sent his messengers and prophets to warn Israel and Judah: Abandon your evil ways and obey my commands. The commandments contained in the Law I gave to your ancestors. I handed them on to you through my servants the prophets. They would not obey. They were stubborn like their ancestors. They did not trust in Jehovah their God.
Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to Jehovah, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Return to your God. Constantly express loving kindness and justice. Always wait with hope in your God.
He said: Truly I tell you, if you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven. He who humbles himself to become like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness (mildness), self-control; against such there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have impaled the flesh with its passions and lusts.
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, invite you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the Father of lights (truth and spiritual purity), with whom there is no variation. He does not change like shifting shadows. Using his own will, he gave us birth through the word of truth. This way we would be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
