Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming for the upright. Praise Jehovah with lyre; sing to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with shouts of joy.

Oh sing to Jehovah a new song; sing to Jehovah, all the earth. Sing to Jehovah, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day.

But let all who put their trust in You rejoice; let them always shout for joy, because You defend them. And let those who love Your name be joyful in You.

Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwells in Zion; declare among the nations His deeds.

And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to choose their brothers to be the singers with instruments of music, lyres, and harps, and cymbals, sounding by lifting the voice with joy.

And the king made of the almug trees a support for the house of Jehovah, and for the king's house, also lyres and harps for singers. No such almug wood has come or been seen to this day.

And the king made terraces to the house of Jehovah with the algum trees, and terraces to the king's palace, and lyres and harps for singers. And there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

How shall we sing Jehovah's song in a foreign land?

And these were the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites in the chambers, they were free of duty, for they were employed in that work day and night.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song. He instructed about the song, because he was skillful.

For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
