Then the Lord said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.

Abraham came near and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

The righteous man will be glad in the Lord and will take refuge in Him;And all the upright in heart will glory.

But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God;Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.

May they be blotted out of the book of lifeAnd may they not be recorded with the righteous.

In his days may the righteous flourish,And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.

And all the horns of the wicked He will cut off,But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

For judgment will again be righteous,And all the upright in heart will follow it.

Be glad in the Lord, you righteous ones,And give thanks to His holy name.

The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.

This is the gate of the Lord;The righteous will enter through it.

I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,When I learn Your righteous judgments.

My eyes fail with longing for Your salvationAnd for Your righteous word.

Your testimonies are righteous forever;Give me understanding that I may live.

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous,So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.

Surely the righteous will give thanks to Your name;The upright will dwell in Your presence.

Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me;It is oil upon the head;Do not let my head refuse it,For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds.

“Bring my soul out of prison,So that I may give thanks to Your name;The righteous will surround me,For You will deal bountifully with me.”
