'Fought' in the Bible

Kedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of nations, Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar. Four kings fought against five.

Then Rachel said, "I have fought a desperate struggle with my sister, but I have won." So she named him Naphtali.

This was to teach the future generations of the Israelites how to fight in battle, especially those who had not fought before.

The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.

Nation battled nation, and city fought city, because God was afflicting them all with every kind of distress.

And here is a fear of Jehovah on all kingdoms of the lands that are round about Judah, and they have not fought with Jehoshaphat;

And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel.

So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.

They fought on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar and rested on the fourteenth, and it became a day of feasting and rejoicing.

Have mercy on me, God, because men have harassed me. Those who oppress me have fought against me all day long.
