Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

So David also describeth the happiness of the man, to whom God imputeth righteousness without works: Happy are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

Some mens sins are manifest before-hand, going before to judgment: and some they follow after.

Whosoever committeth sin, transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God?

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works,

Whosoever committeth sin, transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, but offend in one point, is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. If then thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and captivating me to the law of sin, which is in my members.

Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Therefore no flesh shall be justified in his sight by the works of the law; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

What shall we say then? That the law is sin? God forbid. Yea, I should not have known sin, but for the law. I had not known lust, unless the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed abideth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee:

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this person hath done nothing amiss.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily I say unto you, he that practiseth sin, is the slave of sin:

Know ye not, that to whom ye present yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are whom ye obey? Whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

And that servant who knew his Lord's will, and prepared not, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

And hearing this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?

Then he called for lights, and sprang in, and trembling, fell down before Paul and Silas.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;

Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God; therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself even as he is pure. read more.
Whosoever committeth sin, transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not; whosoever sinneth, seeth him not, neither knoweth him.

The next day he seeth Jesus coming toward him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning: to this end the son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.

Ye are of your father the devil, and your will is, to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth; for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

A certain creditor had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. But they having nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both: Which therefore will love him most? Simon answering said, I suppose, he to whom he forgave most. He said to him, Thou hast rightly judged. read more.
And turning to the woman, he said to Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thy house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath watered my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss; but she, from the time I came in, hath not ceased to kiss my feet. Thou didst not anoint my head with oil: but she hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say to thee, Those many sins of her's are forgiven; therefore she loved much: but he to whom little is forgiven, loveth little.

And that servant who knew his Lord's will, and prepared not, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For to whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required; and to whom they have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Know ye not, that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, Nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor revilers, nor the rapacious shall inherit the kingdom of God.

But thanks be to God,

But thanks be to God,

But thanks be to God,

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.

Which none of the rulers of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle and reap; for the time to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Knowing this, that the law doth not lie against a righteous man; but against the lawless and disobedient, against the ungodly and sinners, the unholy and prophane, against killers of their fathers or their mothers, against murderers, Against whoremongers, sodomites, man-stealers, liars, perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to wholesome doctrine,

Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap. For he that soweth to the flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

But when Herod's birth-day was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod. Whereupon he promised with an oath, to give her whatever she should ask. And being before instructed by her mother, she said, Give me here John the Baptist's head in a charger. read more.
And the king was sorry; yet for the oath's sake, and them who sat with him at table, he commanded it to be given her. And he sent and beheaded John in the prison. And his head was brought in a charger,

For her sins have reached even to heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

For her sins have reached even to heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Some mens sins are manifest before-hand, going before to judgment: and some they follow after.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all the things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.

For as many as have sinned without the law, shall also perish without the law; and as many as have sinned under the law, shall be judged by the law. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

For as many as have sinned without the law, shall also perish without the law; and as many as have sinned under the law, shall be judged by the law. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good, I find not. For the good that I would, I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do. read more.
Now, if I do that which I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God, after the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and captivating me to the law of sin, which is in my members.

And as they were not careful to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them up to an undiscerning mind, to do things not expedient, Filled with all injustice, maliciousness, covetousness, wickedness: full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity: Whisperers, backbiters: haters of God, violent, proud: boasters, inventers of evil things: disobedient to parents, read more.
Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. Who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that they who do such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those that do them.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests, to betray him unto them. And hearing it they were glad, and promised to give him mony. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

And one of the malefactors, who were hanging on the cross, reviled him, saying, If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings.

For the heart of this people is waxed fat, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed: lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and should be converted and I should heal them.

Then began he to curse and to swear, I know not the man.

For the heart of this people is waxed fat, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed: lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and should be converted and I should heal them.

Then began he to curse and to swear, I know not the man.

And he hath quickened you,

What shall we say then? We will continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we who are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that as many of us have been baptized into Jesus Christ, have been baptized into his death? read more.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. And we believe, that if we are dead with Christ, we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more; death no more hath dominion over him. For in that he died, he died to sin once for all; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. So reckon ye also yourselves to be dead to sin, and alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore let not sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in the desires thereof. Neither present your members to sin, as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members to God, as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say, we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. read more.
If we say, we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

by which he hath freely accepted us through the beloved, By whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins,

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which easily besetteth us, and run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith;

But exhort one another daily, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin:

But he had a rebuke for his iniquity: the dumb ass, speaking with man's voice, forbad the madness of the prophet.

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cease not from sin; beguiling unstable souls, having hearts exercised with covetousness, accursed children:

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because it is not of faith; for whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away; and every one that beareth fruit, he purifieth it, that it may bear more fruit. Now ye are pure thro' the word which I have spoken to you. read more.
Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can ye, unless ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him, he beareth much fruit; but, separate from me, ye can do nothing. If any one abide not in me, he is cast out as a branch, and is withered: and they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done for you. Hereby is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you. Abide ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. I have spoken these things to you, that my joy might remain in you, and your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. No one hath greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. I no longer call you servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you that ye may go and bear fruit, and your fruit may remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. This I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know it hated me, before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do to you, for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

For it is impossible, that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse:

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.

What fruit had ye then from those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

Was then that which is good made death to me? God forbid: But sin: so that it appeared sin, working death in me by that which is good: so that sin might by the commandment become exceeding sinful.

Seeing then Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind:

What fruit had ye then from those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

Being then set free from sin, ye are become the servants of righteousness.

There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for that. All unrighteousness is sin: but there is a sin not unto death.

For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If we say, we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

And he coming will convince the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;

There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for that. All unrighteousness is sin: but there is a sin not unto death.

For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

And Pilate, willing to satisfy the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots.

Then desire having conceived, bringeth forth sin; and sin being perfected, bringeth forth death.

And coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I am perishing with hunger?

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer serve sin.

Whosoever committeth sin, transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law.

And hearing these things, they were cut to the heart, and gnashed their teeth upon him.

And there shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall worship him, And shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads.

Simon Peter seeing it, fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

And there went out to him all the land of Judea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptized of him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.

But they who heard it, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which easily besetteth us, and run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith;

that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their traspasses to them, and hath committed to us the word of reconciliation.

For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed, where there is no law.
