I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I myself with the mind serve God's law; but with the flesh sin's law.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

and might set free all those who through fear of death through the whole of their life were subject to bondage.

But he that fixes his view on the perfect law, that of liberty, and abides in it, being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, he shall be blessed in his doing.

as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.

And we have seen, and testify, that the Father has sent the Son as Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. read more. And we have known and have believed the love which God has to us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah hath anointed me to announce glad tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound;

For even as ye have yielded your members in bondage to uncleanness and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now yield your members in bondage to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were bondmen of sin ye were free from righteousness. What fruit therefore had ye then in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of them is death. But now, having got your freedom from sin, and having become bondmen to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life.

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me out of this body of death? I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I myself with the mind serve God's law; but with the flesh sin's law.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh, read more. in order that the righteous requirement of the law should be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to flesh but according to Spirit.

Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.
