so they gather together thither all the flocks, and roll away the stone from off the mouth of the well, and water the sheep, - and put hack the stone upon the mouth of the well, to its place.

And they said, We cannot, until that all the flocks are gathered together, and they roll away the stone, from off the mouth of the well, - and then can we water the sheep.

And it came to pass when Jacob saw Rachel daughter of Laban, his mothers brother, and the sheep of Laban, his mothers brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled away the stone from off the mouth of the well, and watered the sheep of Laban his mother's brother,

And he looked, and behold, there was a well in the fields, and behold there, three flocks of sheep were lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks, and a great stone was at the mouth of the well.

Wherefore she called the well, "the well of the living that seeth me" which well is between Kadesh and Bered.

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water that Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.

Before I ended speaking in my heart, behold, Rebecca came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder, and went down to the well, and drew water; and I said to her, Give me, I pray thee, to drink.

And Isaac's servants dug in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.

But the shepherds of Gerar strove with Isaac's shepherds, saying, The water is ours. And he called the name of the well Esek, because they had quarrelled with him.

And they dug another well, and they strove for that also; and he called the name of it Sitnah.

And he removed thence and dug another well; and they did not strive for that. And he called the name of it Rehoboth, and said, For now Jehovah has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

And he built an altar there, and called upon the name of Jehovah. And he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac's servants dug a well.

And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came, and told him concerning the well that they had dug, and said to him, We have found water.

And Laban said, Well, let it be according to thy word.

And after the death of Abraham, it happened that God blessed his son Isaac. And Isaac lived by The Well of the Living One, My Beholder.

I will get a morsel of bread so you can refresh your heart. After that you may go your way, now that you have come to your servant." They said, "Very well, do as you have said."

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. It had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Only bear a remembrance with thee of me when it goes well with thee, and deal kindly, I pray thee, with me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house;

And Leah was weak of eyes, but Rachel was beautiful and well-favored.

And Jacob said, Oh God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, Jehovah, who said to me, Return to your country and to your kindred, and I will deal well with you:

And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.
