So the Scribe said to Him, "Rightly, in very truth, Rabbi, have you said that He stands alone, and there is none but He;
They are the men that rob widows of their homes, and make a pretense of saying long prayers. Their sentence will be all the heavier."
As He was leaving the Temple, one of His disciples exclaimed, "Look, Rabbi, what wonderful stones! what wonderful buildings!"
and whatever house he enters, tell the master of the house, 'The Rabbi asks, Where is my room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?'
And when he was come, straightway he came to him, and saith, Rabbi; and kissed him.
They dressed Him up in [a ranking Roman officer’s robe of] purple, and after twisting [together] a crown of thorns, they placed it on Him;
After they had mocked Him, they took off the purple robe and put His own clothes on Him. And they led Him out [of the city] to crucify Him.
And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.
