Wherefore she called the well, "the well of the living that seeth me" which well is between Kadesh and Bered.

And as he looked about, behold there was a well in the field, and three flocks of sheep lay thereby - for at that well were the flocks watered - and there lay a great stone at the well mouth.

If thou hatest her, put her away, sayeth the LORD God of Israel and give her a clothing for the scorn, sayeth the LORD of Hosts. Look well then to your spirit, and despise her not.

Consider then from this day forth and afore, namely, from the twenty fourth day of the ninth month, unto the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid: Mark it well,

Even so am I determined now in these days, for to do well unto the house of Judah and Jerusalem, therefore fear ye not.

In that time shall the house of David and the citizens of Jerusalem have an open well, to wash of sin and uncleanness.
