And as soon as they came out of the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, together with James and John.

and He came to her, and taking her by the hand raised her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she waited upon them.

But the woman being afraid and trembling, as knowing what had been done in her, came and prostrated herself to Him, and told Him all the truth:

While He was yet speaking, there came some from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying, Thy daughter is dead, why dost thou trouble the Master any more?

And He went out from thence, and came into his own country, and his disciples attended Him:

And immediately she came in again with eagerness to the king, and said, I desire that thou wouldst give me directly the head of John the baptist in a dish.

And his disciples hearing of it, came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a sepulchre.

And the apostles came together to Jesus, and told Him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

And the people saw them departing, and many took notice of them, and ran thither on foot from all the cities, and got before them, and came together unto Him.

But the fame of Him spread more and more, and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.

And it came to pass on the second-sabbath after the first, that as He was passing through the corn-fields, his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and rubbed them in their hands and ate them.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He went into a synagogue and taught; and there was a man there, whose right hand was withered.

and He came down the hill with them, and stood in the plain; with the rest of his disciples, and a great multitude of people from all the parts of Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases,

he is like a man who in building an house digged deep, and laid the foundation upon a rock; and when a flood came, the torrent beat violently against that house, but could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock.

And when they came to Jesus, they intreated Him earnestly, saying, he is worthy of this favor:

and as He came near to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carrying out to be buried, his mother's only son, and she was a widow: and many of the people of the city were with her.

And He came up and touched the bier, (and the bearers stopped,) and He said, Young man, I say unto thee, arise.

And the men came to Him, and said, John the baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou He that was to come, or are we to expect another?

and turning to the woman, He said to Simon, Dost thou see this woman? I came into thine house, and thou gavest me no water for my feet; but she has bathed my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

Thou gavest me not the respect of a kiss; but this woman, ever since she came in, hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
