And Samuel said to the people, "Do not fear! You have done all this evil; only do not turn aside from {following} Yahweh. But you must serve Yahweh with all your heart.
Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
Then Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul assembled and counted the people who were still with him, [only] about six hundred [fighting] men.
So on the day of battle not a sword or spear could be found in the hand of any of the troops who were with Saul
How much more, if only the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies which they found! For now the slaughter among the Philistines has not been great.”

And David said, What have I done now? Was it not only a word?
But Saul said to David, "You will not be able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, because you are [only] a boy, whereas [he has] been a man of war since his childhood!"
When the Philistine looked and saw David, he despised him, for he was [only] a boy and ruddy with a handsome appearance.

When the messengers came, they found only the idol on the bed and the quilt made of goat's hair at its head.
And David swore again and said, Your father certainly knows that I have found grace in your eyes. And he said, Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be full of sorrow. But truly as Jehovah lives, and as your soul lives, only a step is between me and death.
And thou shalt, not only while yet I live, show me the kindness of the LORD, that I may not die:
But the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and David knew the matter.
The priest answered David and said, "There is no ordinary bread {here at hand}; there is only holy bread, [but] only if the young men have kept themselves from women."
