My flock went astray on all the mountains and every high hill. They were scattered over the whole face of the earth, and there was no one searching or seeking for them.

"This is what the LORD says: "Watch me! I'm going to search for my flock. I'll watch over them myself.

Just as a shepherd looks after his flock during the day time while he is with them, so also I'm going to watch over my sheep, delivering them from every place where they've been scattered during the times of gloom and doom.

Since you have pushed with flank and shoulder and butted all the weak ones with your horns until you scattered them all over,

and say unto it, 'Thus sayeth the LORD God: Behold, O thou mount Seir, I will upon thee; I will reach out mine hand over thee. Yea, waste and desolate will I make thee.

Because thou hast had a perpetual enmity, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;

therefore as I'm alive and living," declares the Lord GOD, "I'm turning you over to bloodshed, and bloodshed will certainly overtake you, since you never have hated shedding blood. That's why bloodshed will certainly pursue you.

And I have given mount Seir for a desolation and an astonishment, And have cut off from it him who is passing over and him who is returning,

I will make you waste for ever, and your towns will be unpeopled: and you will be certain that I am the Lord.

Not only that, you've arrogantly reviled me many times over, and I've heard every word!

This is what the Lord has said: Because you were glad over my land when it was a waste, so will I do to you:

As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

Thus says the Lord God, “Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha!’ and, ‘The ancient heights have become our property,’

For this cause be a prophet, and say, This is what the Lord has said: Because, even because they have been glad over you and put you to shame on every side, because you have become a heritage for the rest of the nations, and you are taken up on the lips of talkers and in the evil talk of the people:

I'll make both the population and the livestock increase throughout your territories. They'll increase and be fruitful. I'll make your territories to be settled like you were in the past, and you will be treated better than you ever were before. At that time you will know that I am the LORD.

And I have caused man to walk over you, -- My people Israel, And they possess thee, and thou hast been to them for an inheritance, And thou dost add no more to bereave them.

"I won't let you hear other people mock you, and no nation will ever make you childless again,' declares the Lord GOD."

And you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that [were] not good, and you will loathe {yourself} over your iniquities and over your detestable things.

And the land that was desolate will be cultivated in {the very place that} it was desolate before [the] eyes of all of [the persons] crossing over.

and He causeth me to pass over by them, all round about, and lo, very many are on the face of the valley, and lo, very dry.

and I have given on you sinews, and cause flesh to come up upon you, and covered you over with skin, and given in you a spirit, and ye have lived, and ye have known that I am Jehovah.'

And I looked, and behold, sinews and flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king over all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and will no longer be divided into two kingdoms.

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

And I will make a covenant of peace with them: it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for ever.

And my tabernacle shall be over them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And the nations shall know that I Jehovah do hallow Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for ever.

After a long time you will get your orders: in the last years you will come into the land which has been given back from the sword, which has been got together out of a great number of peoples, on the mountains of Israel which have ever been a waste: but it has been taken out from the peoples and they will be living, all of them, without fear of danger.

On the outside of the innermore door were the singers' chambers in the inward court beside the North door over against the South. There stood one also, beside the east door northward.

And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.

The chamber doors stood over against the outwall, the one door was toward the north, the other toward the South: and the thickness of the outwall was five cubits round about.

And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;

and above, over the entry, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about, within and without, all was by measure.

There were Cherubims and date trees made also, so that one date tree stood ever betwixt two Cherubims. One Cherub had two faces,

Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

Seven days shalt thou offer daily a goat for a sin-offering; they shall also offer a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

Upon the solemn and high feast days, this shall be the meat offering: an Ephah to a bullock and an Ephah to a ram, and to the lambs: as many as he will, but ever a Hin of oil to an Ephah.

And when the prince shall offer a voluntary burnt-offering or voluntary peace-offerings unto Jehovah, the gate that looketh toward the east shall be opened for him and he shall offer his burnt-offering and his peace-offerings as he did on the sabbath-day, and he shall go out again, and the gate shall be shut after he hath gone out.

And thou shalt daily offer a burnt-offering unto Jehovah, of a yearling-lamb without blemish: thou shalt prepare it morning by morning.

And a meal-offering, shalt thou offer thereupon morning by morning, of the sixth of an ephah and of, the third part of an hin to moisten the fine meal, - a meal-offering to Yahweh, age-abiding statutes continually.

They shall offer the lamb, and the oblation, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt-offering.

And the east quarter is from between Havran, and Damascus, and Gilead, and the land of Israel, to the Jordan; from the border over-against the eastern sea ye measure: and this is the east quarter.

The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.

And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
