O Jehovah, what is man that You take knowledge of him! Or the son of man, that You esteem him?
The way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble.
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and what I give is better than choice silver.
What the wicked fears shall come upon him; but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
The lips of the righteous know what is pleasing; but the mouth of the wicked what is contrary.
When you sit down to eat with a ruler, look carefully at what is before you;
Do not go forth quickly to fight, lest you know not what to do in the end of it, when your neighbor has put you to shame.
Do not boast yourself of tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Who has gone up to Heaven and has come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in His garments? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know.
What, my son? And what, the son of my womb? And what, the son of my vows?
What is the profit to a man in all his labor which he labors under the sun?
What is crooked cannot be made straight; and that lacking cannot be numbered.

For what has the wise more than the fool? What gain has the poor who knows how to walk before the living?
For there are many things that increase vanity, and what is man the better?
For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he spends as a shadow? For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Consider the work of God; for who can make straight what He has made crooked?
Because the word of a king is that which has power; and who may say to him, What are you doing?
For he does not know what shall be; for who can tell him when it shall be?
A fool also makes many words; a man knows not what they shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him?
Give a share to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be on the earth.
As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, as how the bones grow in the pregnant woman's womb; even so you do not know the works of God who makes all.
In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know what shall be blessed, either this or that, or whether they both shall be fruitful in the same way.

Who has directed the Spirit of Jehovah, and what man taught Him counsel?
To whom then will you compare God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?
Let them bring them out, and tell us what shall happen; let them reveal the former things, what they are, that we may look on them and know the final end of them; or declare to us things to come.

so He sprinkles from many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at Him; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, nor understood.

And you, O desolate one, what will you do? Though you dress with crimson, though you put on ornaments of gold, though you make your eyes large with paint, you shall make yourself beautiful in vain; your lovers will despise you; they will seek your life.
Lo, I will bring a nation on you from afar, O house of Israel, says Jehovah. It is an enduring nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor understand what they say.
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do at the end of it?
