Then the master said to the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Now great multitudes went with him; and he turned and said to them,
And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of property that falls to me.' So he divided his living between them.
But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and here I perish with hunger!
And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.
And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.'
And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
He also said to his disciples: "There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and an accusation was brought to him that this man was wasting his goods.
So he called him and said to him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward.'
The steward said to himself, 'What shall I do, since my master is taking the stewardship away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.
So he called in each one of his master's debtors, and he said to the first, 'How much do you owe my master?'
And he said, 'A hundred measures of oil.' So he said to him, 'Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.'
Then he said to another, 'And how much do you owe?' And he said, 'A hundred measures of wheat.' He said to him, 'Take your bill, and write eighty.'
He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and Lazarus received evil things; but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.'

Then he said to his disciples, "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
When he saw them, he said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.
Then said Jesus, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well."
Then he said to the disciples, "The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
And they said to him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together."

"What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, I want to receive my sight."
And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well."
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today."
And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any one of anything, I restore it fourfold."
And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
Therefore he said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return.
So he called ten of his servants, gave them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.'
And he said to him, 'Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, be in authority over ten cities.'
Likewise he said to him, 'You also be over five cities.'
He said to him, 'I will judge you out of your own mouth, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a hard man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?
And he said to those who stood by, 'Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.'
And they said to him, 'Master, he has ten minas already!'
When he had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"
And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples."
and said to him, "Tell us by what authority are you doing these things? Or who it is that gave you this authority."
And Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.'
But when the tenants saw him, they reasoned among themselves and said, 'This is the heir. Let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
He will come and destroy those tenants, and give the vineyard to others." When they heard this, they said, "May this never be!"
But he looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone'?
So they watched him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might catch him on what he said, in order to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them,
"Show me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?" They said, "Caesar's."
He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
And they were not able in the presence of the people to catch him by what he said. But marveling at his answer they were silent.
And Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.

Then Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple, and the elders who had come to him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
And a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight, looked at him, and said, "This man also was with him."
And a little later some one else saw him and said, "You also are of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"
