and I said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God; for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our guiltiness is grown up unto the heavens.

A garden shut up is my sister, my bride; A spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them,'saying , Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir-tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle-tree: and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

And behind the doors and the posts hast thou set up thy memorial: for thou hast uncovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them: thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
